Academic All-Big Sky Conference
A key part of the Vikings’ running game... has the size and strength to be a short yardage back, but also capable of being a feature back.
JUNIOR SEASON • 2018
Became the Vikings big back and was a nice addition to the running game... played in eight games, starting two... missed the last three games due to injury... rushed 80 times for 299 yards and two touchdowns... also had six receptions for 52 yards... biggest game came in the Vikings’ biggest win... rushed 20 times for 80 yards and a touchdown, and caught five passes for 50 yards in PSU’s win over Montana (10/6)... had 12 carries for 52 yards in a win over Northern Colorado (10/13)... five carries for 41 yards and a touchdown in a win at Sacramento State (10/27)... earned Academic All-Big Sky Conference honors.
BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Played two seasons of football at Pima Community College... rushed for 609 yards and seven touchdowns in two seasons... also caught seven passes for 150 yards and a touchdown.
Lettered in football and track at Gresham High School... earned three letters in football, earning first team All-League and first team All-State... rushing for a school record 1,900 yards... also had a school record 406 yards on 15 carries in one game.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Echo Hoffman... has one brother, De’Vauntea... Applied Health and Fitness major... hobbies are working out, hanging out with friends and playing Fortnite... hopes to play professionally and be a business owner.
