Grew into the starting point guard role by game 10... averaged 32 minutes per game - second on the team... averaged 10.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.6 steals per game... led the Big Sky Conference in assists and ranked in the top 10 in steals... named Big Sky Conference Freshman of the Year... has 19 double-figure scoring games and four 20-point games... led the team in assists 25 times with four double-figure totals... made 23 straight free throws at one point of the season... posted back-to-back 20-point games in wins at Loyola Marymount (20 pts, 6-9 FG, 8-9 FT), then Santa Clara (26 pts, 10-12 FG, 3-4 3-pt, 3-3 FT)... was named Big Sky Conference Player of the Week on Dec. 12 after those two wins, averaging 23.0 points, 5.5 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals, shooting 16-21 (.761) from the field and 11-12 (.917) at the line... scored 12 points (3-6 FG, 1-2 3-pt, 5-7 FT) with a season-high 13 assists in the win at Cal (12/21)... recorded 10 assists and three steals at Oregon (12/13)... made a put-back game-winner from the middle of the key with 0.6 seconds left in a 73-72 win at Idaho (1/6)... went for a career-high 29 points (10-10 FG, 2-2 3-pt, 7-8 FT) with nine assists and no turnovers in a win over Eastern Washington (2/3)... his 10-10 FGs established a new school record for most field goals made in a game without a miss... had 10 assists in a win at Montana State (2/10)... scored 20 points (6-17 FG, 2-7 3-pt, 6-7 FT) with nine assists in win over Southern Utah (2/22)... hit a three-pointer with 3.2 seconds left to send the game to overtime and an eventual Viking win... tallied 18 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals in a Big Sky Tournament win over Sacramento State (3/6).
BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Played basketball at Apollo High School in Phoenix earning four letters... was named conference, district and division Player of the Year as a senior... led his team to the state championship, scoring 33 points in an overtime loss... for the season, averaged 27.0 points, 5.7 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game... was runner-up for Gatorade Player of the Year in the state... averaged 22.1 points, 7.5 assists and 2.9 steals as a junior... as a sophomore averaged 14.3 points, 5.5 assists and 2.5 steals...
