A remarkably gifted athlete who has grown into a talented wide receiver... could probably play anywhere on the field... missed the 2021 season while recovering from a groin injury... should be be back to health and participating in 2022... named Academic All-Big Sky Conference for 2020-21 despite not having a season due to COVID.
JUNIOR SEASON • 2019
Played in all 12 games and led the team in receiving... had 40 receptions for 651 yards and seven touchdowns... led the team in receptions three times and receiving yards four times... also rushed 19 times for 87 yards and a TD... had eight kick returns for 156 yards and team-best 19.5 yards per return... totaled 894 all-purpose yards... also had 11 tackles and a fumble recovery on special teams... earned first team All-Big Sky Conference on special teams and third team All-Big Sky as a wide receiver... made five receptions for 43 yards at Arkansas (8/31)... caught three passes for 109 yards and two touchdowns in the win over Eastern Oregon (9/21)... had three catches for 41 yards, and 11-yard touchdown run and four kick returns for 92 yards in the win over Southern Utah (10/5)... made four receptions for 114 yards, including a 76-yard touchdown in the win at Northern Colorado (10/19)... added 31 rushing yards for 145 total yards in the game and had two special teams tackles... made five receptions for 81 yards and two touchdowns against UC Davis (11/9)... also had four carries for 21 yards and three kick returns for 41 yards, totaling 143 yards... caught four passes for 109 yards, including a 53-yard touchdown at Eastern Washington (11/23).
SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2018
Got better as the season progressed... played in all 11 games, starting nine... had 23 receptions for 373 yards and four touchdowns... tied for second on the team in receptions, was second in receiving touchdowns and third in receiving yards... caught passes in 10 of 11 games... led the team in receiving yards twice and receptions once... had four catches for 70 yards in a win over nationally-ranked Montana (10/6)... caught a big fourth-down pass, leading to the Vikings’ game-winning field goal in the final drive... also caught four balls for 60 yards and two touchdowns against Eastern Washington (11/16).
BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Competed in wrestling at Highline Community College and Green River Community College... has yet to play college football.
Competed in football, wrestling and track at Kent-Meridian High School... named first team All-South Puget Sound League as a wide receiver and a linebacker... All-State as a wide receiver... two-time All-Purpose Player of the Year... Tacoma News Tribune first team All-Area... first team All-USA Western Washington... two-time Kent-Meridian team MVP... 2015 Seattle Times All-Area team... 2016 Tacoma News Tribune Athlete of the Year... a two-time state champion in wrestling and four-time state finalist.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Amos and Marth Daigbe... has two brothers, Fred and Adobee, and four sisters, Anita, Lovetee, Patience and Paveena... majoring in Criminology and Criminal Justice... hobbies are working out, watching TV, playing video games and hanging out with friends and family.
