JUNIOR SEASON • 2018
Started eight games at running back, playing in 10... rushed 68 times for 319 yards and two touchdowns... also had 11 receptions for 46 yards and one kick return for 13 yards...one of four players with 300+ rushing yards... a team co-captain... ran for a career high 105 yards on 10 carries against Idaho State (11/3)... had 128 all-purpose yards in the game... rushed for 48 yards and had 16 yards receiving against Montana State (9/22).

SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2017
Became a more prominent player in the offense... competed in all 11 games starting three... rushed 34 times for 112 yards and one touchdown on the season... had 12 receptions for 103 yards and a TD... also returned three kicks for 44 yards... had 27 rushing yards and 52 receiving yards at Idaho State (10/21), scoring one touchdown... a season-high 38 rushing yards and 17 receiving yards with a touchdown against North Dakota (10/28).

FRESHMAN SEASON • 2016
Played in five games, seeing some action on special teams and briefly at running back... had two carries for four yards, with both coming against San Jose State (9/10)... a redshirt in 2015.

BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Lettered three times in football and twice in track at La Habra High School... was named All-Area and All-CIF two times each... first team All-Orange County... was the Freeway League Offensive Most Valuable Player... won team awards for Offensive Excellence, Best Back, Scholar-Athlete and Most Valuable Player.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Carlos Martin Sr., Dolores and Robert Gil... has two brothers, Justin and Matthew... majoring in Criminology and Criminal Justice... hobbies are coaching his younger brothers in sports, and participating in his high school forensics club... would like to go into law enforcement (FBI, ATF).
