A redshirt in 2019... expected to step back into competition and take on a big role at tight end... became a key part of the Viking offense as both a receiver and a blocker as a sophomore... has great size and athleticism at his position.

SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2018

His role grew in his sophomore season... played in 11 games, starting two... had 15 receptions for 177 yards to rank fourth on the team... had season-highs of five catches for 70 yards in a start at 14th-ranked Montana (10/6), playing a big role in the win... made four catches for 41 yards against Montana State (9/22).

FRESHMAN SEASON • 2017

Played in all 11 games coming off a gray shirt season... had six receptions for 83 yards on the year... played a lot of snaps... originally signed in 2016, then entered school in winter 2017.

BEFORE PORTLAND STATE

Narrows League Most Valuable Player… named first team All-State as a defensive end… had 12 sacks as a senior… also earned league MVP, 1st team All-Area... All-City as a defensive end and tight end... led team to the playoffs as a junior and senior… also lettered in track and basketball... went to state in track and set the freshman record for the shot put.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Son of Armand Ruffin Sr., and Christine DuBois... Social Science major... would like to get into Sports Medicine and Education... volunteers with the Special Olympics... has a goal to reach the NFL, as well as teach or coach in the future.
