JUNIOR SEASON • 2016
Played in all 11 games, getting a lot of downs as a backup defensive lineman... made 13 tackles on the season... made a season-high four tackles at Weber State (10/8).
SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2015
Became a regular at defensive tackle, playing all 12 games with two starts... had 15 tackles and one sack... made a career-high five tackles at Cal Poly (10/24)... followed that with three tackles and a sack against Montana (10/31), then four tackles at Northern Colorado (11/7).
FRESHMAN SEASON • 2014
Competed in five games as a backup defensive tackle... had eight tackles on the season... made a season-high three tackles twice, at Cal Poly (9/20) and at Sacramento State (11/15).... a redshirt in 2013.
PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Lettered in football three times at Churchill High School... first team All-League on the offensive and defensive line... second team All-State on the offensive line and honorable mention on the defensive line... named the team’s Most Outstanding Lineman in 2011 and 2012... also Most Inspiration and Mr. Football in 2012... a team captain... a four-year letterwinner on the wrestling team... a state champion in 2012 and district champion in 2013... also lettered twice in track and once in lacrosse.

Son of Fred and Karla Dawson... has a brother, Fred, and a sister, Elizabeth... plans to major in Business... hobbies are camping, hunting, fishing, the outdoors and altar service for St. Judes... would someday like to open his own outdoor store.
