Biography

Has been in the program for two seasons and now has a chance to step up the depth chart at receiver.

FRESHMAN SEASON • 2017
Played in six games on special teams... a redshirt in 2016.

BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Lettered three times in football and and basketball and twice in track at Columbia River High School... twice named first team All-League as a wide receiver and defensive back... was two-time Defensive Player of the Year... selected as first team All-Region and named All-State at both positions... was first team All-League and All-Region in basketball as well as Player of the Year... scholar-athlete and team most valuable player in both sports... won multiple league championships in both sports.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of James and Julie Hawthorne... has three sisters, Jamesa, Shaylan and Audrey... majoring in Business Marketing... hobbies are video games and basketball.
