Attended Centennial High School in Corona, CA... was a first-team Open Division All-CIF selection and MaxPreps.com third team All-State selection... averaged 18.8 points, 9.0 rebounds and 3.6 steals as a senior and was named the Riverside Press-Enterprise Inland Empire Player of the Year... led his team to a 29-4 record and 10-0 league mark, reaching the Southern Section Open Division Championship and the Division I CIF Finals... rated as the number 41 prospect in the state of California by ESPN... as a junior led Centennial to a 26-3 record, averaging 14 points and 11 rebounds per game and was named first team All-League... was first-team All-Moore League as a sophomore at Jordan High School before transferring.
