2016 Honors
2nd Team All-Big Sky Conference

Has become a key special teams player for the Vikings... small, but capable of making plays in the open field... originally a walk-on, was given a scholarship on the first day of fall camp in 2016.

JUNIOR SEASON • 2016
Played in 10 games on special teams... also saw brief action in the backfield... rushed seven times for 20 yards on the season... had 12 tackles... rushed for a three-yard touchdown at San Jose State (9/10)... made special teams tackles in seven games with three against UC Davis (11/5) and Sacramento State (11/12)... named second team All-Big Sky Conference at the special teams position.

SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2015
Played in eight games at running back and on special teams... missed the playoff game due to injury... rushed nine times for 92 yards and a touchdown... had nine tackles on special teams... rushed three times for 73 yards, including an electrifying 68-yard touchdown in the win at North Texas (10/10)... made three special teams tackles in wins over Montana (10/31) and Southern Utah (11/14).

FRESHMAN SEASON • 2014
Participated on scout team... got into one game during the season... a redshirt in 2013.

PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Lettered three times in football at Oregon City High School... named first team All-League and second team All-State... the Three Rivers League Offensive Player of the Year... also lettered twice in track and field... a state finalist in the 4x100 meters.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of David and Doreen Thompson... has two sisters, Sarah and Shelby... majoring in Finance... hobbies are hunting and fishing, the outdoors, helping out with youth sports and being a referee.
