Academic All-Big Sky selection ... Earned victories in singles and doubles against Southern Oregon ... Played at Nos. 4-6 throughout the season ... Earned a victory at No. 5 position against Lewis & Clark (March 7).
2009 SEASON:
Finished the season with a 3-19 record ... Won all three matches at the No. 6 spot ... Earned first collegiate victory in a match against Montana State-Billings (Jan. 31) ... Also recorded first dooubles win against MSU-Billings ... Posted three victories in doubles play, two with Caitlin Stocking at No. 3.
PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE:
Three-year letterwinner at Redmond High School ... 2007 4A Kingo Singles Champion ... participated in the 2007 Washington state singles tournament ... team won the 2007 4A Kingo league title ... 2007 WIAA Athlete of the Week ... spent one year at The University of Washington but did not play tennis.
PERSONAL:
Born August 11, 1989 ... daughter of Frederick and Minerva Gleason ... majoring in health studies ... plans on becoming a dentist after college.
