Played in four games at receiver, but did not have any catches. 

PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Transferred to PSU in time for spring football after playing two seasons at Oregon State... played briefly in both 2013 and 2014 after a redshirt year in 2012... competed at wide receiver and was a backup holder...received the team’s co-Offensive Scout Team Award.

A four-sport star at Corvallis High School lettering in football, basketball, track and baseball... played wide receiver and free safety, earning first team all-state at safety... was first team All-Mid-Willamette League at receiver and safety his junior and senior seasons... team captain as a senior... helped lead the Spartans’ basketball team to a state championship as a senior... played third base and the outfield in baseball... sprinter for the track team.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Mike and Laurie Cavanaugh... has one brother, Shane, who also played football at Oregon State... his father Mike is an offensive line coach at Nebraska after spending several years at Oregon State.
