PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
The Oregon 5A Player of the Year as a senior at Silverton High School... averaged 23.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 4.6 steals per game... led his team to the Mid-Willamette Valley Conference Championship and was league MVP... Silverton was 23-5 and placed third in state... following the season was selected to compete in the Northwest Shootout, pitting Oregon’s top senior basketball players against Washington’s top players... was MVP of the Mid-Willamette Valley Conference as a junior as his team placed sixth in state... a three-time first-team All-League selection and two-time first-team All-State selection... holds six school records at Silverton: points and steals in a career, in a season and in a single game... also lettered three years in track... as a sophomore placed first in state in the 4x400 relay, eighth in the triple jump... was eighth in the long jump as a junior.
