Biography

Will compete for a starting job in 2017... tremendous size and strength... experienced player... had competed at defensive end and tight end earlier in his career.

JUNIOR SEASON • 2016
Played in three games as a backup offensive lineman.

SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2015
Played in 11 games, starting seven of the last nine at left guard... moved over from tight end in 2014... also played on special teams... part of an offensive line that helped lead the team 419.6 yards and 34.2 points per game... team rushed for over 250 yards per game.

FRESHMAN SEASON • 2014
Moved to tight end and found a contributing role... played in a number of formations and served as a key blocker... also competed on special teams... played in 11 games... did not have a reception... a redshirt in 2013. 

PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Lettered in football, basketball and track at Kennedy Catholic High School... All-League offensive and defensive lineman... named All-State as an offensive tackle... defensive line MVP at the NW Elite Camp.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Lawrence and Lucy Thompson... has two brothers, Lawrence Jr. and Einer, and two sisters, Faith and Viva... would like to major in Business... hobbies are listening to music and drawing... would like a degree in real estate and a career in the NFL.
