PSU Team Most Improved Player

An extremely versatile player with great speed... a quality receiver, but also capable of passing, returning and running with the football... started his career as a quarterback... with 104 career receptions has a chance to finish career in PSU’s all-time top 10... has played in 35 games, more than any other returning Viking... should be one of the Vikings’ top weapons as a senior.

JUNIOR SEASON • 2014
Started 10 games and played in all 12... ranked third on the team with 34 receptions for 377 yards and three touchdowns... also rushed seven times for 28 yards, and had one pass completion for 28 yards during the season... led the team in receptions twice... caught a career-high eight passes for 91 yards and a touchdown against fifth-ranked Eastern Washington (11/21)... had four catches for 73 yards and a touchdown at 15th-ranked Montana State (11/8).

SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2013
Played in all 12 games, starting three and playing significant time throughout the season... ranked second on the team with 38 receptions for 389 yards and a touchdown... led the team in receptions three times and receiving yards once... also completed three of seven passes for 109 yards and had a kick return for 18 yards... caught seven passes for 95 yards at 10th-ranked Montana (10/5)... had five receptions for 85 yards and a touchdown in the win over Weber State (11/2)... made six receptions for 48 yards and completed 2-3 passes for 59 yards at third-ranked Eastern Washington (11/23).

FRESHMAN SEASON • 2012
Became a key offensive player for the Vikings after transitioning from quarterback to slot receiver... played in all 11 games, starting four... was the team’s leader with 32 receptions... totaled 313 yards and two touchdowns... also rushed five times for 21 yards and a touchdown... completed two of four passes for 26 yards and a touchdown... also had three kick returns for 47 yards... led the team in receptions four times and receiving yards once... had a big game against Idaho State (10/6) catching six passes for 91 yards and a touchdown, one run for 11 yards and completed a 22-yard touchdown pass... made six receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown against Southern Utah (9/29)... also had six catches against Northern Colorado (11/3).... a wildcat formation was added to the offense mid-season to take advantage of his talents... selected by his teammates as the Most Improved Player on the team... a redshirt in 2011.

PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Lettered in football four times at Cajon High School with three seasons as the starting quarterback... led his team to a pair of San Andreas League titles... was first team All-San Andreas League, team MVP and Athlete of the Year at Cajon as a junior... MVP of the San Andreas League, County Player of the Year and first team All-CIF as a senior... named second team All-Elite Team... Athlete of the Year at Cajon for the second straight year... also lettered in football and track at Cajon... had personal bests of 45’0” in the triple jump and 21’5” in the long jump... was the San Andreas League triple champion as a senior.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Yamita Anderson and Thomas Carter, Jr... has three sisters, Teasia, Khyra and Brittiany... majoring in Criminology and Criminal Justice... hobbies are hanging out with friends, playing video games, community service and church activities.
