Missed the first five games of the season waiting for the NCAA to declare him eligible... after that, he started all six remaining games as the long snapper... made one tackle on the season.

Named first team All-Southwest League as a defensive lineman... ranked as the fourth-best long-snapper in the nation by Rubio Long Snapping... had 78 tackles, four sacks, one interception, one fumble recovery and three pass breakups... also played basketball in high school.
