Proved to be a dangerous weapon, averaging nearly 23 yards per catch... made 23 receptions for 521 yards and seven touchdowns... started five games, playing in all 12... his three biggest games were against nationally-ranked teams... scored three touchdowns on four receptions against #18 Cal Poly (9/26), totaling 89 yards... made four catches for 118 yards and two scores at #10 Montana... grabbed a season-high five passes for 124 yards and a touchdown at #3 Eastern Washington... used his height to block three field goals during the season, against Humboldt State (2) and Montana.
PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Played two seasons at Fresno State... was a redshirt in 2010, then played in eight games in 2011, missing three with a broken foot... caught two passes for 15 yards, both good for touchdowns... as a sophomore in 2012, played in nine games, catching 30 passes for 389 yards and two touchdowns... was fifth on the team in catches despite going down with a broken leg in game nine... had a season-high 97 yards receiving against Colorado.
Played wide receiver and safety at Lincoln High School in San Diego... as a senior, had 55 catches for 1,491 yards and 21 touchdowns... posted three games of more than 300 yards... named All-CIF, All-League and All-San Diego... also named to the Cal Hi All-State team and Max Prep Sports All-State team... had 28 catches for 740 yards and six touchdowns as a junior... also a talented basketball player... an honor roll student and student-body Vice President.
