A transfer to Portland State, he will be able to play right away after completing his degree at Long Beach State... a strong inside player who will add needed depth to the front court.

PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Played three seasons of basketball at Long Beach State.... played in 31 games, starting five last year... averaged 2.2 points and 1.4 rebounds... scored six points in four different games... was a redshirt in 2011-12... played in 20 games, starting two as a sophomore, averaging 0.8 points and 1.3 rebounds... played in 18 games as a freshman, averaging 0.8 points and 0.8 rebounds.

Lettered in basketball at Mayfair High School where he was a teammate of current Viking Tim Douglas and former Viking Charles Odum... his team won back-to-back league titles and advanced to the CIF quarterfinals while winning 20 games both seasons... named first team All-Dream Team by the Press Telegram, first team All-CIF Division II-A and All-Suburban League... was team MVP and a McDonald’s All-American nominee... averaged 13 points, nine rebounds and 2.5 blocks, shooting 57% from the floor as a senior.
