2012 (AS A JUNIOR)
Jaklyn was named the Big Sky Newcomer of the Year … named to the All-Big Sky First Team … finished second in the Big Sky with a 3.81 kps average and fourth with a 4.04 points per set mark … played in 31 matches making 15 starts … missed the final match of the season due to injury … tallied a team-best 423 kills (3.81 kps) while posting 319 digs (2.87 dps) … recorded a team-high 17 double-doubles (kills, digs) … posted five 20-plus kill performances … her 423 kills is seventh on PSU’s single-season Division I list … made her Portland State debut with her first career double-double with 21 kills and 20 digs against Gonzaga (8/24) to open the season ... followed that up with another double-double the following day with a career-high 24 kills and 17 digs against Boise State (8/25) ... named to the Northwest Classic All-Tournament team ... posted third double-double (13 kills, 12 digs) while recording a solo block at Pacific (8/31) ... recorded 14 kills and 16 digs for another double-double against Northern Illinois (9/1) ... added another double-double, sixth of the season, later in the day against Nevada with 13 kills and 12 digs ... named to the Bankers Classic All-Tournament Team ... posted 19 kills and a career-best 22 digs against UC Santa Barbara (9/4) for her sixth double-double of the season ... recorded seventh double-double of the season with 20 kills and 11 digs against Bowling Green (9/7) ... posted 14 kills against Utah (9/8) while recording a season high three blocks, two solo ... added her eighth double-double of the season with 11 kills and 11 digs later in the day at BYU (9/8) ... led the Vikings with 13 kills against her former team in No. 9 Oregon (9/12) ... posted her fourth 20-plus kill performance with 23 kills while adding 16 digs at Sacramento State (9/15) to open Big Sky play ... added nine kills and 14 digs at Eastern Washington (9/17) ... posted career bests in kills (26), attacks (64), and points (27.5) at Montana (9/21) for her 10th double-double of the season ... added 11 kills and eight digs at Montana State (9/22) ... posted a match-high 19 kills and 11 digs for her 11th double-double of the season against Northern Arizona (9/27) ... added 17 kills and seven digs against Southern Utah (9/29) ... named Big Sky Volleyball Player of the Week (Sept. 24-30) ... posted 12 kills and six digs against Northern Colorado (10/4) ... tallied 11 kills and 12 digs for her 12th double-double of the season against North Dakota (10/6) ... tallied her 13th double-double with 11 kills and 11 digs at Idaho State (10/12) ... tied her season-low with six kills and four digs at Weber State (10/13) ... posted four kills and seven digs against Eastern Washington (10/18) ... recorded her 14th double-double of the season with 17 kills and 15 digs against Sacramento State (10/20) ... posted 15th double-double of the season with 15 kills and 14 digs against Montana State (10/25) ... added another double-double with a team-high 18 kills and 13 digs against Montana (10/27) ... tallied her 17th double-double of the season with 15 kills and 10 digs at Southern Utah (11/1) ... added 12 kills and six digs at Northern Arizona (11/3) with a solo block ... recorded 12 kills and eight digs at Northern Colorado (11/10) ... tallied eight kills and five digs against Weber State (11/15) ... tallied three kills in the first set before leaving with a knee injury against Idaho State (11/17).

AT OREGON (AS A FRESHMAN AND SOPHOMORE)
Jaklyn appeared in 26 matches playing in 42 sets over the course of two years as an outside hitter … played a career-high four sets against No. 1 UCLA (11/11/11) posting career highs in kills (5), total attacks (21), and points (5.0) … posted a career-high in digs at No. 5 Stanford (11/18/11) with three.

AT RED BLUFF HIGH SCHOOL (from Oregon)
As a senior, the AVCA Under Armour All-America Honorable Mention and section MVP led the CIF Northern Section with a section record kills tally (777) … helped her Spartans team go 32-10 and finish second in the Eastern Athletic League and Division II finals. She also paced the team in aces (107) and digs (503) and was second in blocks (80), and ended her career as the school career kills record holder … also was a two-year member of the A2 Women’s Junior National Team, four-time all-league honoree, two-time Pleasant Valley Invitational All-Tournament pick, and Northern Section MVP as a junior when she logged 614 kills, 77 blocks and 466 digs … a four-time Record Searchlight All-Section pick and two-time Section MVP, she led her squad to Division 2 section titles in 2008 and ’09 … club-wise, she played for the Shasta Creations in Redding, and helped her team place 20th in the California finals in 2007. She also lettered two seasons in basketball at forward, two seasons in soccer at goalkeeper, and one season in track and field in the high jump. In the classroom, was chosen as a Top Academic Senior, High Honor Roll and CIF Academic-Athletic Award recipient.

PERSONAL
Born November 29, 1991 … Daughter of Warren and Kim Wheeler… mother played middle blocker as collegiate volleyball player for Sacramento State and coached Jaklyn’s prep team … has one younger sister Logan … enjoys water sports and reading … majoring in health sciences with a focus on pre-physical therapy.
