Biography

Gained experience the last two years... should continue to play a role on special teams and provide depth at linebacker. 

JUNIOR SEASON • 2014
A special teams player in 2014, getting into 11 games... saw brief action at linebacker... made one tackle on the season.

SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2013
Began to get playing time as the season progressed... made four tackles and recovered a fumble... played a little at linebacker but mainly on special teams... part of the 2011 signing class... was a redshirt in 2011 and did not play in 2012.

PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Earned first team All-ILH and All-State honors as a junior... was the Team Underclassman of the Year... his team won the ILH championship and state championship... as a senior earned first team All-ILH and selected as Team Player of the Year... a Tom Lemming report Top 20 recruit.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of David, Jr. and Laurie Stant... has two brothers, Kainoa and Kailuna, and one sister, Minei... majoring in Criminology and Criminal Justice... wants a career with the FBI... first name pronounced kuh-VEE-kuh... has earned Eagle Scout status... speaks Japanese fluently.
