All Five Portland State Home Games to be Broadcast on Rose City SportsNet as Vikings Announce New Partnership with Network

PORTLAND, Ore. (August 17, 2026) - Portland State football fans will have a new way to watch the Vikings this fall, with all five PSU home games airing free over the air on Rose City SportsNet™ (RCSN) during the 2026 season. Portland State Athletics announced the new broadcast partnership with RCSN, increasing exposure of Viking football throughout the Portland television market as the program enters a new era under Head Coach Chris Fisk.

The package will make all Portland State home games – four Big Sky Conference games and one non-conference game – free over-the-air for anyone in the Portland Designated Market Area (DMA). That'll give the Vikings a reach of over one million television households that stretches into Salem, Portland, Vancouver and other surrounding areas.

Rose City SportsNet is a new Portland-based sports network delivering premium live games, studio coverage, and original programming free over-the-air. In addition to Vikings' games, the network also serves as the official broadcast home of the Portland Fire and Portland Thorns. The network is a collaboration between Gray Media/KPTV and RAJ Sports expanding the visibility of all sports across the Pacific Northwest.

"We are thrilled to welcome Portland State football to the Rose City SportsNet family," said Corey Hanson, Regional Vice-President and General Manager of Rose City SportsNet & KPTV FOX 12. "RCSN was built to celebrate and expand access to Portland's local sports teams and events. Adding the passion and energy of Vikings collegiate football to our lineup of premium live programming, alongside the Portland Fire and Portland Thorns, reflects our commitment to bringing high-quality local sports directly and freely to households across the Portland market."

Fans can watch RCSN in the Portland DMA free with an antenna on Channel 49.1, or on cable on Channel 13, one channel up from FOX 12 (713 in HD). All Portland State home games will also be available through ESPN+.
