Viking Football Team Names Five Captains For 2026

Ahead of the start of Portland State Football fall practice, the Viking team has announced its captains for 2026. In a vote by the PSU players and coaching staff, senior linebacker Jaxton Helmstetler, senior defensive end Brogan De'Asis, senior wide receiver Terence Loville, junior tight end Tanner Beaman and sophomore long snapper Brock Fleming were selected as captains.

The Vikings open practice for the 2026 season on Wednesday at Stott Community Field at 9 a.m.
