Portland State Sports Broadcasting has taken the Vikings Athletics program to a new level.
 
PSU Athletics televises approximately 75 home events each year on the ESPN+ platform. The production, staffing and broadcast is done entirely in-house and includes the talents of many Portland State University students.
 
Director of Sports Broadcasting Nick Voll, hires and trains staff, produces and directs airings of Vikings football, volleyball, soccer, men's and women's basketball, softball, and this year - the Big Sky Conference Track and Field Championship, coming in May.
 
Among Voll's talented staff of camera operators and studio technicians is Micah Beach who created this documentary for one of his Portland State classes. The six-minute video tells the story of PSU Athletics' Sports Broadcasting and its role as Story Tellers.
