SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Portland State women's tennis team's season came to an end Saturday afternoon falling to Sacramento State 7-0 in the regular season finale at the Sac State Tennis Courts.

The Hornets moved to 17-7 overall while the Vikings dropped to 6-10. The loss means the Vikings finished seventh in the final standings, narrowly the Big Sky Tournament.

Capu Sanoner and
Scarlett Perkins beat Weronika Ejsmont and Best Lee 6-2 at No. 1 doubles but the hornets secured the point with wins at lines two and three.

The Hornets then clinched the win with six straight-set wins in singles play.

The Vikings finished the year 6-10 as Saturday marked the last collegiate matches of
Maddie Egan,
Momoko Yoshimura,
Capu Sanoner and
Makoto Ohara's collegiate careers.
