RENO, Nev. – Sidney Rielly became the 17th player in Portland State women's basketball history to score 1,000-career points with a game-high 24 points as the Vikings rolled their way into the Big Sky Women's Basketball quarterfinal round with a 77-61 win over the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks Monday night at the Reno Events Center in Reno, Nev.

Rielly, an Everett, Wash, native and an All-Big Sky Third Team selection, not only became the 17th with 1,000-career points, she now has 1,001 and counting, but she became just the third player to do it in just two seasons.

Rielly scored her game-high 24 points on 9-of-19 shooting, including a pair of three-pointers. She hit four free throws and tallied three steals in just 27 minutes.

Kiana Brown came off the bench for 17 points on the night, going just 3-of-5 from the floor. The Big Sky's leading free-throw shooter went 11-for-12 at the line on the night. As a team, the Vikings went 24-for-30 at the line.

Ashley Bolston and Tatiana Streun each scored nine points in the game. Bolston added five rebounds and four steals in 28 minutes, while Streun added eight rebounds in 26 minutes off the bench.

After an early scoring flurry by NAU, the Vikings' defense locked in. They held the Lumberjacks to just 28.9 percent from the floor. It was the third time this season that the Vikings held their opponent under 30.0 percent shooting, the second against a Big Sky opponent.

Portland State had four blocks in the game, two coming from Courtney West. West finished with four points and eight boards. The Vikings racked up 12 steals, two shy of their season high, as the 'Jacks turned the ball over 15 times, leading to 16 points for PSU.
