Pregame Activities

Portland State of Mind: Homecoming Tailgate
Noon - 2pm
Join the PSU Alumni Association for the official pregame tailgate party. We will have food, beverages, music and Viking goodies to help show your spirit at the game! Bring the kids for fun activities like face painting, caricatures, and balloon animals. We encourage kids to wear their Halloween costumes and to capture a picture dressed up at our photo booth. 

Family Fun Zone
1pm - End of Halftime
Inside Providence Park kids are invited to play in the Family Fun Area under the videoboard. Beginning one hour before the game head over to the South Deck to take part in the festivities. 

New Avenues for Youth Sock and Underwear Drive
Pregame
The New Avenues for Youth organization provides clean clothing for up to 1,200 children per year. All youth need clean clothing, and the Portland State University Athletic Department along with New Avenues For Youth is hosting a new sock and underwear drive at this Saturday's game.

All Ticket Holders are encouraged to bring new and unused socks and underwear to the Marketing Table just inside Gate 2 at Providence Park this Saturday.

Since 1997, New Avenues for Youth has offered programs and services that empower homeless youth to exit street life. Our values shape how we address the complex issue of youth homelessness and the solutions we offer.  New Avenues believes that every young person should have food, shelter, and access to education and job training.  We believe we must go beyond meeting basic needs and offer programs that heal young lives and foster growth and independence. 

Our mission is to work in partnership with our community to prevent youth homelessness and provide homeless and at-risk young people the resources and skills needed to lead healthy, productive lives.

PSU Students
$1,000 Tuition Giveway
All students who come to the game and scan their ID will be entered into to win $1,000 in tuition courtesy of the Athletic Department. The winner will be announced at the 11/14 game vs Southern Utah. 

Costume Contest
Students will be selected from the crowd to come down to the field for an in game costume contest. We will let the fans decide who is the best dressed student in attendance.
