| Julius Thomas Thomas played four seasons of basketball at Portland State, participating in two NCAA Tournaments. He then spent one year on the football team. Thomas was drafted by the Denver Broncos in 2011 and in 2013 became an All-Pro tight end, playing in Super Bowl XLVIII. |
| DeShawn Shead Shead was a four-year letterwinner and All-Big Sky Conference cornerback for the Viking football team. He started all 44 games of his career from 2008-11. Shead signed as a free agent with the Seattle Seahawks and became a Super Bowl XLVIII Champion. |
| Adam Hayward Hayward played two years for Portland State and was named the Big Sky's Defensive Player of the Year in 2006. He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the sixth round in 2007 and played there through 2013. Hayward signed with the Washington Redskins in 2014. |
| Bree Schaaf Schaaf played three seasons (1999-2001) with the Vikings volleyball team. She competed in the 2010 Winter Olympics for the U.S. Bobsleigh team, after crossing over from the Skeleton event. |
| Jordan Senn A two-time Academic All-American for the Vikings football team, Senn (2004-07) signed a free agent contract with the Indianapolis Colts in 2008 and after two seasons he moved on to play for the Carolina Panthers. In 2014, Senn signed with the Chicago Bears. |
| Ime Udoka Udoka was one of the first stars for the Portland State basketball team after it returned in 1996. He was named the Big Sky's Newcomer of the Year in 2000. An eight-year NBA veteran, Udoka played for the Portland Trailblazers, San Antonio Spurs, Sacramento Kings, Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks. He is now in his second season as an assistant coach for the Spurs. |

| June Jones Jones transferred to the Park Blocks from Hawai'i and became a national passing sensation with coach Mouse Davis. Jones was an All-American in 1976, passing for 3,506 yards that season, an NCAA record at the time. He went on to play for the Atlanta Falcons (1977-81) and has since become a coach. He's been head coach for SMU, Hawai'i, the Atlanta Falcons and the San Diego Chargers. |
| Mike Richardson Richardson played one season with the Vikings basketball team and went on to found Dark Horse Comics in 1986. |
| Freeman Williams Williams was a star all four years with the Vikings (1974-78). He was a first team All-American in 1978, appearing on the same team with Larry Bird and Magic Johnson. He is the NCAA's second all-time leading scorer with 3,249 points. |
| Sophia Mundy Mundy played two seasons (2003-04) for the Vikings soccer team. In 2009 she signed with the Boston Breakers of the WPS, considered the world's top professional soccer league. She most recently played with the Atlanta Beat. |
| Neil Lomax Lomax competed four seasons for the Vikings (1977-80) and rewrote the NCAA's passing records. He was an All-American his senior year and finished with 13,220 yards and 106 touchdown passes. Lomax played eight seasons in the NFL with the St. Louis/Arizona Cardinals and made two trips to the Pro Bowl (1984, 1987).
