Portland State University Athletics

Darnell Adams has joined Portland State as wide receivers coach for the 2022 season. Adams is a PSU alum who played wide receiver for the Vikings from 2012-17. He is also the brother of PSU defensive back Anthony Adams.

Since graduating, Adams has worked in personal training, health coaching and has coached high school football, most recently at Gladstone High School.

While a Viking, Adams had 99 career receptions, 1,568 yards and 12 touchdowns. He was a double major with bachelor's degrees in Public Health Studies and School of Health: Education. He minored in Business.
