LYNDA JOHNSON – WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL, 1982-85

First four-time NCAA Division II Volleyball All-American.

Led PSU to NCAA Division II Tournament all four years, winning the National Championship in 1984 and 1985, finishing second in 1983 and third in 1982.

PSU Woman Athlete of the Year in 1983, 1985, 1986.

Her number seven was the first volleyball number retired at PSU.

Inducted into the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame in 1995.

Upon leaving PSU, Lynda competed for Team USA and played professionally.
