A star receiver in the Mouse Davis' Run-and-Shoot offense, Stuart Gaussoin put up big numbers for the Vikings. Gaussoin set a school record with 90 receptions for 1,132 yards in 1979. He finished his career with 148 catches for 2,026 yards, ranking in the top 10 in both categories in PSU history. Gaussion also set a mark for most catches in a single game, with 16 against Northern Colorado in 1979. Gaussion was named an All-American by the American Football Coaches Association in 1979.
