Matt Mandigo had a solid four-year career for the Portland State men’s golf program, the highlight of which was winning the 1992 NCAA Division II West Regional championship with a 74.0 scoring average and advancing to the NCAA Championship. At the National Championship, held at The Carolina Club in Spartanburg, S.C., Mandigo shot 70-75-75-72=292 to place eighth and earn All-America honors. Mandigo was PSU’s team Most Valuable Player in 1992 and 1993.
