SOFTBALL, 1990-91
Although she played only two seasons at Portland State, pitcher Kristin Jacobs left an indelible mark. She led her team to a third-place national finish in 1991 and was also named a first team NCAA Division II All-American. The Vikings made two playoff appearances during her years on the Park Blocks, while accumulating an 84-23 record, Jacobs had 26 shutouts in 53 starts and her career record was 45-14. She set a PSU record for wins in 1991, going 24-6. Jacobs finished her career with six no-hitters.
