SOFTBALL, 1998-2001
Kiauna Anderson starred for the Viking softball team for four seasons as the Vikings transitioned from a Division II to a Division I program. She was named All-West Region in 1998, then earned All-Western Athletic Conference in 2000. Anderson, an outfielder, finished her career as the PSU leader in games played (219), ranked second in hits (210), fifth in runs (91), fourth in runs batted in (84), first in doubles (40) and fifth in triples. She set a single season record with 17 doubles in 2001. Anderson was a leader on the team throughout her career and earned NFCA Academic All-American honors.
