VOLLEYBALL, 1986-89
An NCAA Division II National Championship in 1988 highlighted Jen Norlin’s outstanding four-year volleyball career at Portland State. The outside hitter earned second team All-American honors twice (1987, 1989), first team All-American once (1988) and was a four-time All-Region selection.
The Vikings’ offensive weapon propelled PSU to a 114-50 record over her time on the Park Blocks. Norlin ranks among the all-time leaders in matches played (157), kills (1,795), hitting percentage (.297), blocks (96), and digs (1,012). She set the season record for kills with 600 in 1989.
