CROSS COUNTRY, 1967-69
Dave Robbins has the distinction of being Portland State’s first National Champion runner. A talented distance runner, Robbins won the NCAA College Division Cross Country Championship in 1968. He also held all of Portland State’s Track and Field distance records during his competitive days. In addition, he placed fifth at nationals in the 1,500 meters.
