A member of the 1967 National Championship wrestling team, Chuck Seal was a two-time NCAA Division II national champion in the 152 pound weight class (1967, 1969) and placed second in 1968. He earned All-American honors three times. Seal won his first College Division national championship in 1967 and went on to finish third in the University Division that same season. In 1968 he was the national runner-up at the College Division level and would reclaim his national title in 1969. Seal possessed a career record of 50-11-2 in his time on the Park Blocks, with 15 pins. As a senior, Seal led the team in victories as the team captain.
