1988-89 WRESTLING
The 1988-89 Viking wrestling team earned Portland State its second national championship in the sport. The Vikings won the title easily with five individual national champions and a nearly 50-point edge in the scoring. Head Coach Marlin Grahn, also a Viking Athletics Hall of Famer, earned the first of his two National Championships.
