1985 VOLLEYBALL

The Vikings became back-to-back National Champions in 1985 with most of the same cast that accomplished the feat in 1984. PSU went 36-5 over the course of the season and was 15-1, winning the Mountain West Conference. Portland State also extended a winning streak from the 1984 season to 28 matches in 1985. The team featured National Player of the Year Lynda Johnson and All-Americans Lisa Couch and Theresa Huitinga.
