In the spirit of camaraderie, Varsity Viks are dedicated to upholding the foundation of Portland State Athletic’s four core values; Fearless, Determined, Proud, and most importantly, Together. Varsity Viks serves its members by enhancing relationships among alumni letter-winners, current student-athletes, current and former coaches, staff and more. Together, we build our Viking family and strive toward excellence.
Our vision is bigger than athletics. The goal is to develop the most connected alumni group at Portland State University and to engage proud alums to come back to the Park Blocks to support their alma mater. Our student-athletes pursue excellence through transformation, engagement, innovation, and collaboration on a daily basis. Portland State Athletics wants to continue this cohesive commitment so our student-athletes stay connected to the Viking family long after they graduate.
Varsity Viks is an association of Portland State Athletics Letterwinners and those who have been voted an Honorary Letterman as determined by the department.
Varsity Viks encourages continued involvement in alumni activities relating to Portland State University and the Athletic Department. The opening of Viking Pavilion at the Peter W. Stott Center provides a tremendous opportunity to bring our department to the next level. We are proud to bring our Varsity Viks members back home to visit our first-class arena located in the heart of downtown Portland. The future is bright for Portland State Athletics.
