Do you like sports? Are you a proud Viking? Are you a positive, dynamic or outgoing student that wants to improve the student experience at Portland State? Then you should apply to be a Portland State Athletics Intern and join the Vikings Street Team. The Vikings Street Team plays an important role in the marketing of Portland State Athletics. Members of the Vikings Street Team will work together to build awareness about PSU Athletics through campus and community events.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Spearhead development of the Vikings Student Section.
• Represent PSU athletics at events.
• Setup promotional materials at events including print materials, banners, & swags.
• Build relationships with groups to drive student attendance and the Viking brand.
• Execute in-game promotional activities at PSU Athletics events.
• Attend monthly marketing & outreach meetings.

 

Compensation

• This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity, but you may be able to arrange academic or internship credit through your major advisor.
• Perks include free Viking gears, significant networking opportunities, and one formal career development meeting per term.
