Academic All-Big Sky Conference
A talented athlete with good size... needs to stay healthy, and if he does, could be a key player on defense... made two tackles in the spring game at Montana.
JUNIOR SEASON • 2019
Career continued to be hampered by injuries... seen as a potential starter at linebacker but a preseason knee injury and mid-season hand injury limited him to just two games... made three tackles in the win over Idaho (10/12).
SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2018
Competed in 10 games, starting four at the rover position... had a total of 16 tackles, two tackles for loss and a sack on the season... best game was in the win at Montana (10/6), compiling six tackles and one for loss... had two tackles and a sack in a win over Northern Colorado (10/13).
FRESHMAN SEASON • 2017
Played in four games, but saw much of his season derailed by injury... had one tackle in the game at Oregon State (9/2)... a redshirt in 2016.
BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Named first team All-PIL as a junior and a senior… made 107 tackles in nine games as a senior... team captain and Defensive MVP... also competed in wrestling, track, lacrosse and baseball... a state qualifier in wrestling.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Bernt and Julie Jacobsen... has one brother, Matthew, and one sister, Lea... Economics major... hobbies are skiing, snowboarding, hunting and mock trial... would like to be a strength and conditioning coach or a CPA.
