Started all 12 games at quarterback and was highly productive... completed 211-370 passes for 2,928 yards, 25 touchdowns and eight interceptions... also rushed 122 times for 517 yards and five touchdowns to rank second on the team... had 728 positive rushing yards... had the most TD passes by a Viking quarterback in 20 yards and threw for the most yards by one QB in 18 years... had a career-best 57% completion rate... with 3,445 yards of total offense, he ranked fifth in PSU history for a season... ranked 18th in the nation in yards per completion (13.9) and total offense (285.8), and 19th in touchdown passes (25)... had seven games where he threw for 275+ yards and three games over 300 yards... passed for 366 yards and five touchdowns in the win over Eastern Oregon (9/21). The 366 yards were the most since his freshman season... the five TDs were the most by a Viking QB since Drew Hubel had five in a win over Eastern Washington in 2008... had 340 yards of total offense (296 pass, 44 rush) and accounted for two touchdowns against Idaho State (9/28)... brilliant in the win over Southern Utah (10/5), compiling 314 yards of total offense and accounting for three touchdowns... completed 18-30 passes for 234 yards and two scores, and rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown on seven carries... had 258 yards of total offense (167 passing, career-high 91 rushing), passing for two touchdowns and running for a third in the win over Idaho (10/12)... had 230 yards of total offense (170 passing, 60 rushing) in the win against Northern Colorado (10/19), passing for a TD and running for another... at Northern Arizona (10/26), completed 22-39 for 307 yards and finished with 337 yards of total offense.. threw for 285 yards and four touchdowns against UC Davis (11/9)... had the sixth 300-yard game of his career at Eastern Washington (11/23), competing 23-39 for 319 yards, four TDs and two interceptions. SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2018
Played in all 11 games, starting 10... completed 126-238 passes for 1,786 yards, 11 touchdowns and seven interceptions... ranked second on the team in rushing with 424 yards on 112 carries... not counting sack yardage, he totaled 547 yards... led the team with 12 rushing touchdowns... led the team in rushing three times... ranked 17th in the nation in yards per completion (14.2) and 17th in rushing touchdowns (12)... ranked fifth in the Big Sky in touchdowns... threw three touchdown passes in six completions in a win over College of Idaho (9/15)... also had a season-high 77 rushing yards and a TD in that game... rushed for 72 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Northern Colorado (10/13)... accounted for five touchdowns against Idaho State (11/3), completing 18-31 passes for 273 yards and two TDs, while rushing 18 times for 64 yards and three scores.
FRESHMAN SEASON • 2017
Played in five games, starting the final three games of the season... completed 90-157 passes for 1,233 yards, five touchdowns and one interception... in his three starts, all 300+yard games, had 1,165 yards and five TDs... rushed 44 times for 120 yards and two touchdowns... had 195 positive yards... in his first start at Cal Poly (11/4), completed 30 of 51 passes for 409 yards, a touchdown and an interception... threw for 370 yards and a touchdown, completing 24 of 44 passes against Weber State (11/11)... also rushed for 24 yards and a touchdown... in the season finale at Eastern Washington (11/18) was 28 of 51 for 386 yards, three touchdowns and one interception... also rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown... had 456 yards of the Vikings’ 502 yards of offense in the game.
