SEATTLE, Wash. — Senior Ben Richardson posted his second-best 800-meter time of the season Saturday, as the lone Viking competing at the Husky Classic.
 
Richardson finished the 800 in 1:54.53, more than half a second better than his initial 800 at the Dempsey Indoor facility of 1:55.17.
 
Richardson, who earned All-Big Sky honors in the indoor and outdoor 800 meters last season, ranks seventh in the 800 this season on the back of his winning time at the Idaho Duals of 1:52.73.
 
Richardson will next run at the Big Sky Indoor Championships, which will take place in Pocatello, Idaho, Feb. 23-25.
