Portland State Athletics and Comcast SportsNet Northwest have an agreement to televise four Viking home football games this fall. All four games will be live on CSNNW (channel 37/HD737 on Comcast systems).

The games include the home opener against Carroll College on Sept. 1 (5 p.m.), the Big Sky Conference opener against Southern Utah on Sept. 22 (5 p.m.), an Oct. 6 game with Idaho State (5 p.m.) and the regular season finale against rival Eastern Washington on Nov. 17 (1 p.m.).

PSU's games on CSNNW continues a partnership with the local cable network that began back in 2007.

Portland State was recently chosen to place fourth in Big Sky Conference preseason polling. The league recently expanded to 13 football teams. The Vikings were 7-4 in 2011, 5-3 in Big Sky play.

CSNNW and Portland State anticipate adding other televised events later this fall and winter.
