Portland State Football has released its game times for the 2011 season as the Vikings play six games at newly-renovated JELD-WEN Field and five games on the road.

PSU will play three afternoon and three evening games at JELD-WEN this season. Home contests with Southern Oregon, Northern Arizona and Willamette will all begin at 5:05 p.m. The Vikings will host Montana State, Sacramento State and Weber State at 1:05 p.m.

The Vikings play five games on the road, starting with TCU on Sept. 24 at 4 p.m. PT (6 p.m. CT). The Oct. 1 game at Idaho State kicks off at 12:30 p.m. PT (1:30 MT). On Oct. 15, PSU travels to Montana for a 12:05 p.m. PT (1:05 MT) game. The Vikings are at defending national champion Eastern Washington on Oct. 29 for a 1:05 p.m. start.

PSU's final regular season road game is Nov. 12 at Northern Colorado. It will be the earliest start of the season with an 11:05 a.m. PT kickoff (12:05 MT).

It is important to note all listed times are Pacific to accommodate radio listeners and potential televised games. All Portland State football games will air on Freedom 970 AM and www.970.am again this season. Each broadcast will be preceded by a one-hour pregame show.

The television schedule will be released later this summer. All Big Sky Conference games will be available free on Big Sky TV at www.b2tv.com.
