Vikings Play At Jeld-Wen Field In 2011

The Vikings return to newly-remodeled PGE Park for the 2011 season... only they don't return to PGE Park. In fact, the downtown sports facility has a new look and a new name. The Portland Timbers, who are the main tenants of the venue, have announced the name has been changed to Jeld-Wen Field.

Jeld-Wen Inc. is a manufacturer of doors and windows based in Klamath Falls, OR.

Portland State first played football in old Multnomah Stadium in 1949, then returned in 1966 and became a regular tenant in 1967 of what became Civic Stadium. Following a renovation in 2001, the stadium became PGE Park. In 2011, it is now renamed Jeld-Wen Field. For more on Jeld-Wen Field, click here. The Vikings' 2011 football schedule will be released soon.
