Comcast SportsNet has added a Portland State football game to its television schedule when the Vikings take on defending national champion Eastern Washington in a Big Sky Conference game, Saturday, Oct. 29 in Cheney. CSN will pick up the SWX TV feed from Spokane when PSU faces EWU in what is also a Dam Cup rivalry game. The game will air at 1 p.m.
PSU is 3-3 this season heading into a non-conference game with Willamette on Saturday. Eastern Washington stands at 3-4 with a Big Sky game at Sacramento State on Saturday. The Eagles are 3-2 in the Big Sky, while the Vikings are 2-2. Both teams are battling for a strong finish to the 2011 season and potential NCAA playoff bid. It will also be a part of the "Dam Cup" series between Eastern Washington and Portland State highlighting the rivalry of the two schools. With wins in soccer and volleyball, PSU currently leads the series, 2-0.
The addition of the Eastern Washington game to the schedule makes it the fifth Portland State football game televised by CSN in the Portland area this season. The game can also be seen on other CSN affiliates.
Portland State hosts Willamette this Saturday at JELD-WEN Field in a non-conference game at 5:05 p.m.
