PORTLAND, Ore. – Zach Carpenter and Brittany Castillo paced the Vikings Saturday morning in the adidas/Cross Country Classic at Fernhill Park hosted by Concordia University.

Carpenter finished fourth out of the collegiate team participates and 11th overall with a time of 25:23 in the men's 8,000-meter race. Cary Dunagan finished 36th overall with a time of 26:35 while Max Zemtsov finished in a time of 27:00.

Taylen Howland and Josue Rodriguez finished with times of 27:24 and 27:28 respectively. Levi Younger rounded out the Vikings on the men's side with a time of 27:56.

In the women's 5,000, Castillo finished 32nd overall with a time of 18:49. Keikoanne Hollins finished in a time of 19:12 while Lora Ross and Victoria Dinu finished in times of 22:05 and 22:13 respectively.

The Vikings will be back out on the trails next Saturday, Oct. 22 at the Beaver Classic in Corvallis, Ore.
